Background:
Alina lived in a broken home. Her mother was a caring woman, who was possibly the nicest person she had ever known. Her father was an abusive alcoholic who gave no regards to her even being alive. Tobin, Alina's older brother, was a strange child. He rarely ever spoke, except to Alina, often spending time in his room or in the tree out behind the house. It was just another usual night at home, Alina's father drunk as ever, prancing about the house screaming out slander towards Alina's mother. Alina confided herself to her room where she began to cry. She flipped on a depressing song to drown out her cries of sorrow while she continued to hear the sounds of her bickering parents. Tonight, however, was a different night. Tobin remained in his room as usual doing his usual studies. The house was flooded with the noise of bickering, crying, and music, but all of that changed. After almost an hour of arguing, Alina's father slammed the bedroom door, then opened it forcibly, slamming it into the wall and almost off its hinges. Before a word could be spoken from her mother, Alina's dad fired off two shots from his pistol and the house was completely silent. All that could be heard was the sound of footsteps, nearing closer to Alina's door. Alina quickly jumped through the window and into the bushes just outside of them, sprinting towards Tobin's window as soon as she gained her balance. The door to her room slammed open with the force of her fathers kick. Seeing the window busted open, he ran to investigate, noticing her and Tobin dashing off in the distance. He took aim and fired off a few shots, one grazing Alina's back.
Her and Tobin lived in fear, hiding from there psycho father. As they passed a local convenient store, the saw a news story about how there home was burned down by an unknown suspect, likely there father to cover the murder. The two left town for good, travelling over valleys and through small villages. During an immense storm, the two were seperated. Alina was cold, tired, and aching from the travels and the storm. While wandering through the woods, she saw a mansion off in the distance through the trees. She ran as quickly as she could until she arrived at the doorstep of mansion. Seeing the lights on inside, she knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer her and help her.

Personality:

-Though she appears young, she is actually quite mature for her appearance.
-Often climbs into trees to find a quiet place to relax or ease her mind.
-Because of her separation with Tobin during the storm, she now has a serious fear of thunder.
